Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant position located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and complying with regulatory requirements. The role involves performing account reconciliations, overseeing payroll, managing budgets, and assisting in financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making. The candidate will also ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in audits as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, and budget management
- Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and financial tools
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, audit processes, and compliance requirements
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of data
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA certification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or related financial roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in delivering results in a deadline-driven environment
