Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role is based in Nagpur and supports the firm’s financial management and compliance activities. The Senior Accountant will manage general ledger entries, review and post journal vouchers, and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role will handle tax calculations, statutory filings, and compliance with local regulations relevant to architecture and consultancy services. The Senior Accountant will also support internal controls, assist in audits, analyze financial data for management reporting, and collaborate with project teams on cost tracking and for
ecasting.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in general accounting, including ledger management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to support project-based work.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes applicable in India.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally) and MS Excel for reconciliations and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with project, operations, and leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
