Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida will also involve preparing financial statements, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide insights to support management decision-making. Additional responsibilities include improving internal controls, streamlining accounting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and management.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end closing.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and support for budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, taxation rules, and regulatory compliance relevant to corporate finance in India.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners such as auditors.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within a product, retail, or manufacturing environment.
