Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with financial audits, optimizing accounting systems, supporting budgeting processes, and maintaining accounting controls. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Accounting principles, Financial reporting, and General Ledger management
- Expertise in Taxation and compliance with local and international statutory requirements
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools such as Tally, Excel, or ERP systems
- Analytical skills for financial data review, budgeting, and forecasting
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) is required
- Experience in handling audits and managing complex financial processes
- Knowledge of contemporary accounting standards, practices, and regulatory updates
