Location: Sevasi, Vadodara - Onsite
Work hours: 18:30 to 3:30 IST (US Shift)
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage full-cycle accounting for six legal entities
- Record and maintain all accounting entries including AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger and supporting schedules
- Perform monthly and weekly financial closes
- Prepare internal financial statements and management reporting
Deal-Level Accounting & Credit Tracking
- Track accounting for specialty credit transactions and structured financings
- Maintain detailed schedules for:
- Loan balances
- Interest accruals
- Fee income (origination, structuring, exit fees)
- Repayments and deal maturity schedules
- Build and maintain loan amortization and interest tracking models
- Monitor active deals and portfolio-level financial performance
Investor & Compliance Reporting
- Prepare investor reporting packages
- Support bank compliance and lender reporting
- Track investor capital participation, allocations, and distributions
- Assist leadership with portfolio reporting and capital deployment tracking
Treasury & Cash Management
- Track deal funding and repayment activity
- Monitor bank accounts and liquidity
- Reconcile deal funding with accounting records
- Assist with wire activity and transaction reconciliation
Accounting Infrastructure & Controls
- Build and implement accounting processes and reporting frameworks
- Design internal schedules and tracking tools for deal performance and portfolio oversight
- Develop accounting documentation and controls as the firm grows
Tax & Entity Support
- Maintain accounting across multiple entities and deal structures
- Prepare documentation and schedules to support external CPA firms for tax filings
- Maintain intercompany accounting records
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of accounting experience
- Direct experience in specialty credit, private credit, structured lending, or similar financing environments
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting
- Experience working with complex financial transactions and deal structures
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience building financial schedules and tracking models
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong research and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies
- U.S. CPA preferred (not required)
- Experience supporting investor reporting and lender compliance
- Experience with QuickBooks
Systems:
- QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel for financial modeling and deal tracking
