Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Bhubaneswar. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and monitoring financial transactions. Additional tasks will include budget analysis, financial forecasting, supporting audits, and providing recommendations for financial best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations is integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Budget Management
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Financial Statement Preparation
• Knowledge of Audit Processes and Compliance with Accounting Standards
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience in the non-profit or development sector is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
