Position: Senior Accounts Executive (Diamond Trading & Export)
Location: BKC, Mumbai
Experience: 5+ years
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive from the Gems & Jewellery (Diamond Trading) industry with strong expertise in export documentation, banking, and financial compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and ensure financial records.
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage company & individual bank accounts, including reconciliation & coordination with banks.
- Manage forex transactions, exchange rate accounting, and reconciliation.
- Prepare & process payments through Cheque, RTGS and NEFT.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
- Handle import and export accounting, including documentation and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, GST filings, and other regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in diamond trading/export house (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of export documentation
- Experience in foreign remittances, LC, BG, and forex accounting
- Good understanding of GST and compliance
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Ability to handle high-value transactions independently
