Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts professional to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure accuracy of general ledger and trial balance
Handle balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
2. Taxation & Compliance
Manage GST filings, TDS returns, and income tax compliance
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and audit readiness
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
Manage vendor payments and reconciliation
Ensure proper invoicing and billing processes
4. Audit & Internal Controls
Assist in internal and external audits
Develop and maintain internal control systems
Identify risks and suggest corrective measures
5. Banking & Cash Flow Management
Handle banking transactions and reconciliations
Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts
Optimize working capital management
6. MIS & Reporting
Prepare MIS reports for management
Provide insights on cost control and profitability
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
7. Team Management
Supervise junior accounting staff
Ensure timely completion of tasks and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' of relevant experience
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
