Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in ERP/Tally
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Generate MIS reports for management review
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Manage TDS compliance, returns, and payments
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, MSME payments and other statutory laws
4. Receivables & Payables Management
- Monitor debtors and creditors
- Follow up for collections and manage payment cycles
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts
5. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Reconcile all key ledger accounts periodically
6. Audit Support
- Assist in internal and statutory audits
- Prepare schedules and required documents for auditors
7. Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Identify discrepancies and suggest improvements
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualification & Experience
- Education: M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter
- Experience: 5-8 years (industry-specific preferred)
