Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Senior Academic Counselor. The primary responsibilities include offering academic guidance to students, providing career counseling, assisting with creating academic plans, and addressing students' concerns about their education and future career paths. The Senior Academic Counselor will collaborate with various departments and ensure that students receive personalized and actionable advice to achieve their goals. Additionally, this role will involve keeping up-to-date with industry trends to guide students effectively and participating in workshops and events to enhance their counseling services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to provide guidance and support to diverse learners
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and stakeholders
- Experience in Academic Advising, developing personalized academic plans, and guiding students through educational options
- Background in Education and a thorough understanding of academic systems and career pathways
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students and foster a supportive environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields
- Previous experience in educational counseling or a similar role is highly preferred
- Organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented professional with a proactive attitude towards student success
