Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Academic Counsellor located in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will assist students with academic planning, career counseling, and educational guidance. Responsibilities include assessing student needs, providing tailored advice, facilitating discussions about academic and career paths, and maintaining effective communication to support student success. The Senior Academic Counsellor will also collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for enhancing student support services and ensuring the best possible outcomes for the institution's academic community.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with a passion for guiding learners to achieve their goals.
- Strong skills in Communication and Academic Advising to effectively address student concerns and provide actionable advice.
- Experience in the Education sector with a thorough understanding of academic programs and career opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust with students and educational stakeholders.
- Familiarity with educational trends and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is highly preferred.
