Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Academic Counsellor at IMTS Institute, located in Noida. The Senior Academic Counsellor will provide guidance and support to students in choosing academic and career paths. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, understanding individual student needs, advising on suitable courses, assisting with academic planning, and providing information on available programs and professional development opportunities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining clear communication with students, following up on queries, and ensuring an excellent learner experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide learners effectively
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with students
- Experience or expertise in Academic Advising and Education-related processes
- Ability to understand individual learner needs and provide tailored support
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or relevant field; certifications in counseling are a plus
- Proven experience in academic advising, career counseling, or student engagement
- Commitment to student success, ethical practices, and continuous professional development
