We are looking for passionate, target-driven, and career-focused individuals to join our growing team as Academic Counsellors for our Medical Upskilling Programs.
Role OverviewAs an Academic Counsellor, you will be responsible for guiding students and healthcare aspirants toward the right medical upskilling courses based on their career goals. You will interact with leads, explain program benefits, address queries, and convert interested candidates into enrollments.
This role is ideal for candidates who are confident communicators, enjoy counselling and sales, and are motivated by performance-based growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Counsel students and healthcare aspirants regarding medical upskilling programs
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
- Explain course curriculum, career opportunities, certifications, and benefits
- Follow up with interested candidates and convert leads into admissions
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and admissions in Google sheets
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Build strong relationships with students and provide end-to-end admission support
- Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and student support
Desired Candidate Profile- Excellent communication and convincing skills
- Strong interest in counselling, sales, and student engagement
- Ability to handle targets and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of medical or healthcare education is an added advantage
- Positive attitude, confidence, and self-motivation
- Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
Qualification- Any Graduate / Postgraduate
- Candidates from Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Allied Health Sciences, or Management backgrounds preferred
