Position Description
Job Title: Senior ABAP Developer
Experience: 6+ Years

Job Location: India – Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai / Mumbai
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
We are seeking an experienced Senior ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing technical solutions, developing custom SAP applications, and supporting data migration initiatives for SAP S/4HANA environments.
The role involves developing custom enhancements, supporting integration processes, and collaborating with functional teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design technical solutions and prepare technical specifications for SAP ABAP developments.
- Develop and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs and enhancements.
- Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Develop interactive reports, function modules, and BAPIs.
- Customize code using user exits, BADI, and enhancement frameworks.
- Develop and maintain Data Dictionary objects such as tables, views, data elements, and domains.
- Implement integrations using ALE/IDOCs and BDC programs.
- Develop forms using SAP Scripts and Smart Forms.
- Work with modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, AMDP, and OO ABAP.
- Support data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA public cloud migration projects.
- Participate in incident management, system enhancements, and support activities.
- Prepare test cases, test scripts, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP R/3 development.
- Hands-on experience in RICEFW objects and Data Dictionary development.
- Experience developing ABAP reports and interactive reports.
- Strong knowledge of Function Modules, BAPIs, and OO ABAP.
- Experience with ALE/IDOCs, BDC, and integration technologies.
- Experience developing CDS Views and AMDP.
- Experience working with SAP Scripts and Smart Forms.
- Experience in data migration for SAP S/4HANA public cloud environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with SAP Fiori applications.
- Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Functional exposure to SAP modules such as HCM, SuccessFactors, FICO, PP, QM, or WM.
- Experience in enterprise integration and SAP enhancement frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
