Role Description : We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior 2D Interior Designer to join the design team at UniQ Design Studio. The role involves translating client requirements and design concepts into accurate, detailed, and execution-ready 2D drawings while coordinating closely with the design, sales, and execution teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, interior detailing, materials, site measurements, and working drawings, along with the ability to manage projects with accuracy and within timelines.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in 2D Interior Design / Interior Drafting, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare detailed and execution-ready 2D drawings.
Good knowledge of furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
Ability to take and verify accurate site measurements and understand site conditions.
Strong understanding of interior materials, dimensions, furniture details, and construction methods.
Ability to convert design concepts and client requirements into practical and accurate working drawings.
Coordinate effectively with 3D Designers, Visualizers, Sales, and Execution teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Ability to review drawings, incorporate revisions, and resolve design-related requirements from the site.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to visit project sites and coordinate with the execution team whenever required.
