The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for the position of CIVILIAN INVESTIGATOR, FINANCIAL CRIMES.
This position involves specialized work responsible for performing investigative work in the protection of life and property.

Salary is negotiable based on related training, education, and experience.Applications must be submitted before the closing date of May 26, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of responsible experience in a personnel office environment, criminal justice work.
- Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must obtain FCIC/NCIC Certification within six (6) months of employment.
- Internal applicants must have completed the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office one-year probationary period.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.

- Strong analytical, investigative, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate ethical, professional conduct and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Competence in modern investigative methods, documentation, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple cases, and produce accurate, timely results.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is generally performed in an office environment but may include limited fieldwork or courtroom attendance. The incumbent may be required to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, or respond to critical incidents when necessary.
