Role Description
We are seeking a Semi-Qualified Company Secretary to join our team. This is a full-time on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves assisting the company in ensuring compliance with corporate laws, maintaining company records, drafting reports, managing board meetings, and providing support in regulatory filings. The candidate will work closely with various internal departments and external regulatory authorities to ensure seamless operations.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Company Secretary to support corporate secretarial, compliance, and regulatory functions. The candidate will assist in ensuring that the company adheres to statutory and legal requirements under the Companies Act and other applicable laws.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining statutory registers, records, and filings
Prepare and file forms with MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs)
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws
Assist in conducting Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings
Draft agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions
Maintain minutes books and records
Handle ROC filings
Ensure timely compliance with statutory deadlines
Liaise with regulatory authorities
Maintain corporate records and documentation
Assist in due diligence, audits, and inspections
Support in drafting agreements and corporate documents
Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and legal consultants
Assist senior CS in compliance management and advisory
Requirements
Semi-qualified Company Secretary (CS Executive cleared / Professional pursuing)
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, or related field preferred
1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial/compliance roles
Experience in a CS firm or corporate environment
Good knowledge of Companies Act, 2013 and corporate laws
Familiarity with MCA portal and filings
Strong drafting and documentation skills
Attention to detail and organizational ability
Good communication and coordination skills
Exposure to FEMA, SEBI regulations would be added bonus
