Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant. The primary responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing financial statements, conducting tax audits, handling direct and indirect tax compliances, and supporting transaction structuring for tax planning. Additional duties involve maintaining client relationships, managing and reviewing accounts, conducting research for advisory services, and coordinating with banks and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and Tax Audit
- Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation, including compliance and returns preparation
- Proficiency in Preparing and Reviewing Financial Statements
- Skills in Valuation, Due Diligence, and Transaction Structuring
- Familiarity with Banking Relationships and liaisoning with financial institutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficiency in accounting and taxation software tools
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field; CA Inter qualification mandatory
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
