Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Semi Qualified CA role based in Mysore. The role involves supporting audit engagements, assisting in tax computations and filings, and preparing working papers and financial statements under applicable standards. The Semi Qualified CA will review ledgers and documentation, ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, and assist senior team members with advisory and assurance assignments. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients for data collection, performing analytical procedures, drafting reports, and helping implement process improvements. The role requires consistent documentation, adherence to internal quality controls, and active participation in training and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Progress toward Chartered Accountancy qualification (completed IPCC/Intermediate or equivalent) and strong grounding in accounting and auditing standards.
- Prior experience or internship exposure in audit, tax, advisory, or assurance services, preferably in a CA or consulting firm environment.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, ledger review, and preparation of working papers, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort with MS Excel and other accounting or ERP software; ability to analyze financial data and prepare reconciliations.
- Good understanding of direct and indirect tax concepts, compliance requirements, and basic corporate and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Mysore, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
