SEI’s Community & Family Programs (CFP) department advances SEI’s mission to guide underserved youth in realizing their full potential by strengthening the families and households that support them. As direct service providers, our Family Stability Programs focus on stabilizing families, reducing barriers and supporting households to achieve safety, stability and self-defined goals supported by sustainable income. This work relies on strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, and public systems to improve conditions that impact family well being.
The Family Stability Programs Manager provides leadership, oversight, and supports the strategic direction for SEI’s family stability initiatives within CFP. This role manages and strengthens a portfolio of programs supporting participants and families experiencing domestic or sexual violence, child welfare involvement, and other barriers to long term stability. The Manager supervises a team of Coordinators who deliver direct services and case management utilizing SEI’s RISE (Restore, Identify, Stabilize and Empower) framework and the Bridge to Prosperity and Goal Action Plan tools to support families from crisis and instability to sustained stability and increased economic mobility. This position is accountable for ensuring high quality program implementation, staff development, and measurable outcomes that align with the CFP Department Charter and SEI’s mission.
PRIMARY Job responsibilities
Program Leadership & Oversight
- Provide leadership, direction and operational oversight for Family Stability programs, including anti domestic and sexual violence responses and prevention and child welfare involved families.
- Ensure program fidelity to SEI’s model, the CFP Department Charter, the RISE framework, and the Bridge to Prosperity pathway.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen service delivery systems and participant outcomes.
- Serve as a member of the CFP leadership team and contribute to agency wide planning and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community agencies, public systems, and employment partners.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise and support Coordinators providing direct case management to adults and families.
- Provide ongoing coaching in trauma informed, culturally affirming, and person centered practices.
- Lead staff onboarding, training, and professional development to build capacity and retention.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee program data collection, documentation and reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with funder and organizational requirements.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure data quality, consistency, and fidelity across programs.
- Monitor program outcomes, performance metrics, and compliance with grant, contract, and regulatory requirements.
