Why you want this job We are seeking a skilled HTML/CSS Developer to join our Marketing Technology group. This role focuses on building and optimizing customer-facing marketing campaigns, including emails, SMS/MMS, push notifications, and landing pages - all powered by our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Content Management System (CMS). You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, translating creative designs into responsive, high-performance deliverables. What you’ll do Code Multi-Channel Campaigns: Transform designs from the creative team into clean, scalable HTML and CSS, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and devices. Develop email, SMS/MMS, push notifications, and landing pages, while supporting technical initiatives with innovative solutions. Optimize Campaign Delivery: Work within the CDP and CMS to simplify complex workflows, recommend new tools and strategies, and improve overall deliverability. Maintain Templates: Develop, test, review, and maintain reusable templates, adhering to industry standards for performance and deliverability. Evolve and expand the modular template library as business needs change. Best Practices: Contribute to establishing coding standards while documenting processes and creating training materials for the broader team. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve code-related issues and bugs, ensuring efficient and accurate production-ready deliverables. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketers, creatives, engineers, analysts, and systems administrators to bring creative concepts to life and ensure technical feasibility of campaign requirements. What you'll need 1-2 years of experience in web development with a focus on multi-channel marketing. 1-2 years of experience with marketing operations and campaign support. Proficiency in HTML and CSS. Some familiarity with SQL and JSON is helpful. Experience with Content Management Systems and modular template design. Experience working with a Customer Data Platform and a Digital Asset Manager. Advanced knowledge of email service providers and email delivery best practices. Familiarity with tools like Figma, Redpoint, ButterCMS, Cloudinary, and Litmus. Knowledge of real-time decisioning engines powered by a CDP.
