About the role
As a Web Developer at SEEK, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our industry-leading websites and web applications. You will work closely with our design and product teams to create innovative and user-friendly solutions that deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performing, scalable, and secure web applications using modern web technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver features
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies
Required skills and experience:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Understanding of server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
