About the role
The Principal Business Analyst - ERP/IFS Systems will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide business solutions, with a focus on the ERP/IFS system. This role will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements, translate them into detailed system specifications, and ensure successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of ERP/IFS system enhancements and new functionality to support the business
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and subject matter experts, to design and develop solutions that meet business needs
- Ensure effective data migration and integration between the ERP/IFS system and other enterprise applications
- Provide ongoing support and optimization of the ERP/IFS system, including troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new ERP/IFS technologies and vendors
- Mentor and guide junior business analysts in the team
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst or a similar role, with a strong focus on ERP/IFS systems
- Excellent understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Proficient in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis
- Hands-on experience with ERP/IFS system implementation, configuration, and support
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior business analysts
