Job Description :
Vulnerability Management, Remediation & Governance
- Perform deep analysis of CVEs to assess technical impact, severity, and remediation priority.
- Identify and engineer alternate solutions where patches are unavailable, including registry, GPO, and configuration-level fixes.
- Design, develop, and deploy custom remediation packages ensuring effective vulnerability resolution.
- Prioritize closure of critical and high vulnerabilities while optimizing bulk remediation of low and medium findings.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of remediation packages following SDLC practices including staging, versioning, and deployment.
- Execute controlled deployments across Dev, UAT, and Production environments in line with release cycles.
- Ensure compliance with organizational change management policies and approved maintenance windows.
- Collaborate with application owners to identify dependencies and plan remediation strategies.
- Coordinate testing and validation to ensure fixes do not impact application or business functionality.
- Obtain formal sign-offs from stakeholders for all remediation activities and implemented workarounds.
- Maintain governance through strict version control, documentation, and SDLC adherence.
- Address complex third-party vulnerabilities beyond standard tools (e.g., Qualys, Tanium).
