- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard people, assets, and operations.
- Lead and manage the overall site security operations, including deployment planning, supervision, and performance management of security personnel.
- Ensure strict access control measures for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicle movements through defined gate management systems.
- Monitor and review CCTV surveillance, incident reports, and security logs to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate security incidents, breaches, and misconducts; prepare detailed reports and ensure closure with corrective measures.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Plant leadership, HR, Admin) and external agencies (law enforcement, emergency services) for effective security management.
- Drive compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and client-specific security requirements.
- Lead emergency response planning including fire safety, evacuation drills, and crisis management.
- Ensure proper training, grooming, and capability development of security staff, including periodic drills and awareness programs.
- Manage vendor performance (security agency) and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
- Implement technology-driven security solutions such as VMS (Visitor Management System), access control systems, and digital monitoring tools.
- Maintain proper documentation, reporting systems, and MIS for security operations and present regular updates to management.
- Strengthen integrity controls in sensitive areas such as material movement, tanker operations, and high-risk zones.
