Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Security Manager role based in Chengalpattu. The Security Manager will oversee the organization’s physical, information, and network security programs, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring security operations, managing access control systems, coordinating with facilities and IT teams, and conducting regular risk assessments and security audits. The role includes developing and updating security policies and procedures, leading incident response activities, and investigating security breaches or policy violations. The Security Manager will also train and guide staff on security best practices, liaise with external vendors and law enforcement when needed, and prepare reports for leadership on security posture and improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Security Management, including policy development, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Proficiency in Physical Security, including access control, surveillance, visitor management, and facility protection.
- Knowledge of Information Security practices, including data protection, compliance, and security awareness training.
- Hands-on experience with Cybersecurity and Network Security, including monitoring, threat mitigation, and coordination with IT teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CPP, CISA, or similar) are highly beneficial.
- Proven experience managing security in an IT, BPO, or similar high-compliance environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, handle multiple priorities, and remain composed during security incidents.
