Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Security Manager / Assistant Manager – Security, based in Alappuzha. The role involves ensuring the physical safety and security of the hotel property, guests, and personnel. Responsibilities include managing security protocols, overseeing security staff, coordinating security operations, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety measures, and responding effectively to incidents. The role also involves maintaining compliance with security and safety regulations, collaborating with local authorities, and ensuring smooth operational management of all security infrastructure and systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in Physical Security and Security Management practices to oversee on-site safety and minimize risks
- Knowledge of Information Security, including data protection and compliance with relevant standards
- Understanding of Cybersecurity principles to identify and address potential digital threats
- Competence in Network Security technologies to ensure secure communication and sensitive data protection
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach toward risk management
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams and external authorities
- Relevant certifications in security management or a related field are considered a plus
