Role Description The Security and Surveillance Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for safeguarding the facility, personnel, and inventory. This role includes monitoring CCTV and surveillance systems, conducting regular security patrols, and ensuring controlled access to restricted areas. The Executive will document and report security incidents, support investigations, and collaborate with management to implement and update security protocols. Daily responsibilities also involve coordinating with local authorities when needed, maintaining security equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements related to cannabis operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in security operations, facility protection, or surveillance monitoring in industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control tools, alarm systems, and basic troubleshooting of security equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures, incident reporting, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, including possible shift-based or weekend duties as required.
- Prior experience in high-compliance sectors (e.g., pharmaceuticals, cannabis, logistics) is an advantage.
- Relevant certification or training in security, safety, or law enforcement is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
