Role Description
NetNXT is seeking a full-time, on-site Security Consultant for our Gurugram office. This role involves assessing client security needs, developing tailored security strategies, implementing security controls, and conducting risk assessments. The consultant will work with clients to ensure robust application, network, and information security, providing expertise in identifying vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation measures, and supporting security compliance initiatives. Collaboration with internal teams and clients to stay ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices will also form a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Security Consulting and Cybersecurity, including threat assessment and risk management.
- Knowledge of Network Security and Information Security practices, including secure system design and compliance monitoring.
- Experience in Application Security, including vulnerability scanning, code review, and secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001) and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience with managed security services, incident response, and working in a SOC environment is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
