Are you a Deck Officer ready to move ashore and work hands-on with vessel security at scale?

Your Role
As a Security Assistant Manager, the job will be challenging and involve self-directed tasks as well as teamwork. The right candidate will join a motivated team with focus on delivering high-quality technical operations on our vessels.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing vessels for High-Risk Area transits.
- Performing security administration by maintaining vessel security records, tracking certificates and access lists, and preparing required documentation for audits, inspections, and port calls.
- Contributing to security improvement projects by collecting operational input from vessels, coordinating with HSSE and technical teams, and supporting the implementation of agreed security measures.
- Being responsible for keeping certain company procedures and security manuals up to date.
- To support in trouble shooting and rectification of issues related to Ship Security Alert System and communication equipment.
- Taking part in out-of-office hours work as and when required, as well as a duty rotation.
Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you bring:
- A Chief Officer or 2nd Officer rank on product tankers.
- Hands-on experience from at least two years in a seagoing role, with practical involvement in vessel operations, shipboard security procedures, and coordination with crew during routine and high-risk transits.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Experience with vessel security operations on product tankers, including preparation for High-Risk Area transits and compliance with ISPS requirements.
- Knowledge of shipboard security procedures and the ability to maintain and update security manuals and company procedures.
- Experience with security-related administrative work, including documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
