# Role Overview
We are seeking a Security Architect to design and lead the security architecture of a hardware-rooted trust platform involving secure elements, cryptographic workflows, attestation systems, backend authorization controls, and audit-chain integrity.
The ideal candidate should deeply understand modern security architecture beyond compliance checklists — including secure provisioning, identity trust chains, cryptographic authorization, secure APIs, embedded trust systems, and infrastructure threat modeling.
You will work directly with founders, firmware teams, backend engineers, and ecosystem partners.
# Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end security architecture for trust infrastructure systems
- Define cryptographic trust models and authorization flows
- Lead threat modeling across device, application, backend, and operational layers
- Architect secure provisioning and device identity systems
- Define secure communication standards between hardware, mobile, and backend systems
- Review firmware, backend APIs, and authentication architecture
- Design tamper-evident audit and evidence-chain mechanisms
- Develop security governance documentation and architecture decision records (ADRs)
- Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and trust-boundary analysis
- Support compliance alignment with Indian regulated digital-signing ecosystems
- Coordinate with external auditors, security researchers, and ecosystem partners
# Required Skills
- Strong understanding of applied cryptography and PKI systems
- Experience with hardware security modules (HSMs), secure elements, or trusted execution systems
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and attestation architectures
- Experience in secure backend/API architecture
- Familiarity with Zero Trust and secure identity systems
- Experience with threat modeling methodologies
- Understanding of secure provisioning and key management
- Ability to write technical security documentation clearly
- Familiarity with cloud security and infrastructure hardening
# Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with embedded or IoT security
- Exposure to e-signing, PKI, or certificate ecosystems
- Familiarity with secure elements such as ATECC608B or TPM-class devices
- Experience in fintech, cybersecurity, GovTech, or regulated infrastructure
- Contributions to security architecture, audits, or trust platforms
- Understanding of auditability and digital evidence systems
