A typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role requires careful planning and documentation of security controls to ensure a smooth transition to cloud security-managed services. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain the integrity and performance of the security architecture while adapting to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of security strategies that support cloud infrastructure and services.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure security requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of security controls implementation and management in cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
