About the Role
We are seeking a certified Workday Security Analyst (IAM) with strong expertise in Workday security architecture and Identity & Access Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure access controls within Workday, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
This is a critical role within the Healthcare IT function, supporting enterprise-level security, governance, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Workday security framework, including:
- Domain Security Policies
- Business Process Security Policies
- Design, implement, and maintain:
- Role-based Security Groups
- User-based Security Groups
- Manage end-to-end user lifecycle:
- Provisioning
- De-provisioning
- Access modifications in alignment with IAM standards
- Implement and support IAM integrations with enterprise systems such as:
- Active Directory
- SSO
- LDAP
- Conduct periodic:
- Security audits
- Access reviews
- Compliance validations
- Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues within Workday.
- Partner with HR, IT, and Compliance teams to enforce:
- Proper access controls
- Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Support Workday release cycles by:
- Assessing security impact
- Implementing required configuration updates
- Maintain detailed documentation of:
- Security configurations
- Policies
- Procedures
- Ensure adherence to data privacy and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Mandatory: Workday Security Certification
- 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Security and IAM.
- Strong expertise in:
- Workday Security Framework (Domains & Business Processes)
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Experience with identity management tools and integrations:
- SSO
- LDAP
- Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of audit, governance, and compliance processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors).
- Exposure to security audit frameworks and governance models.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as:
- HIPAA
- SOX
- GDPR
- Experience working in global or multi-tenant Workday environments.
