Company Description United Geosphere Network (UGN) is a global collaborative research initiative focused on analyzing and communicating critical changes in Earth’s climate systems. Founded on the research monograph “Global Warming and Its Effects on Humanity (2025 Edition),” UGN connects complex data from organizations such as NASA, ISRO, and the IPCC with the wider public. The organization operates as a global community of data analysts, environmental advocates, and concerned citizens united to safeguard the Geosphere. UGN emphasizes scientific awareness as a foundation for meaningful climate action. Its work centers on analyzing open-source climate data, educating the public through simplified climate science, and mobilizing “Green Warriors” to implement practical solutions.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Secretary role based in Amravati. The Secretary will manage day-to-day clerical and administrative tasks, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and organizing files. The role involves supporting executives with calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of basic documents and reports. The Secretary will also serve as a point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional customer service and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with internal communications, organizing small events or workshops, and ensuring smooth office operations in line with UGN’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong clerical skills, including document handling, filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and external partners.
- Experience with company secretarial work and executive administrative assistance, including meeting coordination and basic documentation.
- Proficiency with office software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendars) and basic digital communication tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role is preferred; familiarity with environmental or research organizations is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a certificate or degree in administration, business, or a related field is beneficial.
