The position: We are seeking to fill a Resident Communications Liaison position. Under the direction of the Construction Project Manager, the Resident Communications Liaison implements and maintains a communication program for occupied rehabilitation projects. They serve as liaison between the Construction Management Team, including architects, contractors, SHA construction manager, SHA staff, and SHA residents. This is a project-based position with an expected end date on 12/31/2029.

The ideal candidate has:
- 3 years of experience in human services, construction management, or communications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Services, Construction Management, English, Public Relations, Communications, or related field; OR
- 4 additional years of directly relevant experience
What will you do?
- Maintain two-way communication systems for construction updates and stakeholder engagement
- Create and distribute clear, accessible communication materials across multiple formats and languages
- Provide timely updates to residents, staff, and project teams through web, hotline, and postings
- Establish communication protocols; attend construction meetings and walkthroughs; document site progress
- Keep building-information spreadsheets updated and accessible for management
- Coordinate community meetings, activities, and events with property management and partners
- Support clear, effective responses to resident and stakeholder questions and correspondence
- Assist with communication to social service agencies and other external partners
- Contribute to planning and execution of agency communication strategies and goals
- Work respectfully with colleagues, follow direction, and perform well under pressure
- Attend required safety trainings; use PPE; report hazards, injuries, and incidents promptly
