We are Hiring| Lead Engineer – Bus seating Development | Ctrine Engineering Private Limited | Pune
About the Role
Design & Development of Automotive Bus Seating Structural/Foam/Plastic and checking for manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and development of Complete Seating component considering DFM and DFA.
· Evaluate and build product, drawings, and Bill of materials (BOM)
· Independently handle issues raised by customer and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Coordinate with Manufacturing and Testing Teams.
· Organize engineering meetings, create, and follow up executions of action plan.
· Prepare Weld accessibility report, tool gun accessibility, check interface with BIW, MTM study.
· Create and modify parametric 3D models and 2D drawings in the Sheet Metal workbench using CATIA V5, following best business practices.
· Capable of performing benchmarking activities and preparing CR and CN documentation.
· Ensure manufacturing feasibility of sheet-metal parts.
· Prepare packaging studies, environment check, kinematics simulation for various seat mechanisms with good knowledge of all regulatory and functional requirements.
· Ability to perform complete seat packaging study of seating components with kinematics preparation. Kinematic study considering seat travel limits (4W, 6W, 8W) analysis.
Knowledge / Experience
· Responsible for product design with related design tools and technical skills, proficiency in CATIA and UG to achieve design requirements especially to meet customer requirement
· Knowledge of sheet metal parts its materials, process, and tooling feasibility. Welding processes and symbols.
· Experience in component level and full Complete seat DVP&R and DFMEA
· Good experience in GD&T & PLM.
· Possess strong knowledge of automotive seating regulations as per AIS & CMVR standards.
· Excellent communications skills should be able to communicate with customers independently.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word etc Must follow Data Quality review and data delivery to customer following Guideline.

Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
