We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Development Manager who thrives on winning new business, running engaging demos and closing deals. This role is about building trusted partnerships, showing customers the value of our platform and driving revenue growth in a rapidly expanding sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities by engaging with decision-makers across the real estate, construction, land, and PropTech industries (via calls, video meetings, and in-person).
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations of the Searchland platform, tailoring messaging to customer needs and industry challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor — helping customers understand how to maximise value from the platform and embed it into their workflows.
  • Capture and share customer insights, including user feedback, market trends, and opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Partner with the wider team and founders to continuously evolve the sales strategy and contribute to company growth.
  • Refine and implement effective sales processes, balancing autonomy with our best-practice customer journey framework.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance self-service sales and contribute to scaling initiatives.
  • Represent Searchland at industry events, building relationships and raising brand awareness.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Development Manager or equivalent senior sales role.
  • Strong background in one or more of the following industries: Real Estate, Land, Planning, or PropTech.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful product demonstrations (both virtually and in person).
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot, with a structured approach to pipeline management.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skilled at presenting to a variety of stakeholders, adapting communication style to different audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SaaS sales cycles and scaling strategies.
  • Existing network within the property, planning, or PropTech ecosystem.
