Job Overview
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and local SEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner
- Optimise website content, landing pages, and blogs
- Conduct technical SEO audits (site speed, indexing, crawl issues, schema)
- Monitor performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Implement on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, internal linking)
- Execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building
- Track keyword rankings and prepare reports
- Work with developers and content teams
- Stay updated with SEO trends
- Manage and optimise websites on WordPress and Shopify
- Implement SEO fixes directly within CMS platforms
- Optimise and manage Google Business Profile listings
- Create and set up new Google Business Profiles
- Handle suspended listings and the reinstatement process
- Coordinate with the Google support team for verification and issue resolution
- Manage business details like phone numbers, address, and working hours
- Improve local rankings through citations and reviews
- Monitor insights and performance, and provide recommendations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of proven SEO experience
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with WordPress and Shopify platforms
- Experience in local SEO and Google Business Profile management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with e-commerce or service-based websites
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads or paid marketing
- Understanding of schema markup and structured data
- Experience with content strategy and blogging
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
