Role Description The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist will be responsible for increasing Criclive.in’s organic visibility, search rankings, and traffic across major search engines. This full-time, on-site role is based in Janakpuri and involves managing daily SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical checks, and link-building initiatives. The specialist will perform regular SEO audits, analyze web analytics data, and create actionable reports to improve site performance and user engagement. They will collaborate closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across articles, live commentary pages, and fan discussion sections. The role also includes monitoring industry trends, algorithm updates, and competitor strategies to refine and update the overall SEO roadmap.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to optimize existing and new content for search visibility.
- Hands-on experience conducting comprehensive SEO Audits and implementing technical and content-related recommendations.
- Practical knowledge of Link Building strategies, including outreach, partnerships, and ethical backlink acquisition.
- Ability to use Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, similar platforms) to track performance and inform decisions.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or comparable solutions.
- Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and how site structure, page speed, and mobile responsiveness affect SEO.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in sports or media content domains, especially cricket, is an advantage but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
