Role Description (Contract – Remote)
This is a contract-based, fully remote position.
As a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the online visibility of our clients. In this contract role, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link-building strategies, and conducting in-depth SEO audits.
You will also utilize web analytics tools to monitor performance, generate reports, and identify growth opportunities aligned with business objectives. This role requires a hands-on executor who can both develop and implement SEO strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in keyword research and competitive analysis
- Strong experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits (technical, on-page, and off-page)
- Advanced knowledge of link-building strategies and outreach campaigns
- Proficiency in on-page SEO, including metadata optimization, internal linking, content structuring, and technical improvements
- Solid understanding of technical SEO (site speed, indexing, crawlability, schema, etc.)
- Strong skills in web analytics, with the ability to track, measure, and interpret performance data
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
- Experience managing and optimizing websites on WordPress and Webflow
- Basic to intermediate experience in paid ads management (Google Ads preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience in a digital agency environment is a plus
Important Note
This is strictly a contract (freelance) role — not a full-time or salaried position. Candidates should be comfortable working on a contract basis.
