About The Role
The SEO Manager defines how MAVIP and its clients get found, ranked, and trusted on search.
This role goes beyond keywords and backlinks. It connects technical infrastructure, content strategy, and user intent into a compounding organic growth engine.
SEO scope covers:
- Thrrum -- SEO strategy, site architecture, on-page and off-page optimization
- The Catalyst -- Editorial SEO, topic clusters, search-driven content planning
- Riveoo -- Local SEO, event discovery, venue and ticketing search presence
- Sales & GTM -- Inbound pipeline through high-intent organic traffic
Key Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end SEO strategy aligned with business goals; define keywords, content roadmap & growth opportunities; drive on-page & off-page SEO
· Conduct technical audits (indexing, crawling, performance); implement fixes for site speed, mobile, schema & architecture; ensure SEO best practices
· Collaborate on SEO-driven content strategy; optimize content, blogs, landing pages & metadata; ensure keyword alignment & internal linking
· Track performance via GA, Search Console, Arefs, SEMrush; monitor rankings, traffic, conversions & ROI; share insights and reports
· Drive backlink strategy & outreach; build domain authority; manage brand visibility across search platforms
Required Experience
- 5-9 years in SEO, with demonstrable impact on organic traffic and revenue
- Deep hands-on experience with tools -- Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4
- Experience managing SEO across multiple websites or clients simultaneously
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how CMS platforms affect SEO
- Ability to communicate technical SEO to non-technical stakeholders without losing nuance

- SEO professionals who chase rankings without understanding what converts
- Dependency on agencies or tools to think -- strategy must come from the person, not the software
- Those who cannot explain why organic traffic dropped or grew in a Monday morning meeting
