About the Role
We are looking for an SEO Manager who can take ownership of SEO strategy and execution for client websites.
This role requires someone who has hands-on SEO experience, strong client communication skills, and a proven track record of improving organic traffic meaningfully. You should be comfortable managing stakeholders, working with deadlines, and using both traditional SEO tools and AI tools to deliver better outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute SEO strategies for client websites across different domains
- Conduct keyword research and identify growth opportunities
- Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes
- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, indexing, and SEO performance
- Identify and fix keyword cannibalisation issues
- Plan internal linking strategies based on SEO best practices
- Work on backlink strategy and understand off-page SEO fundamentals
- Use tools like Semrush and Google Search Console for research, tracking, and reporting
- Create clear SEO reports for clients and internal stakeholders
- Interact with clients, explain progress, and manage expectations
- Work with content, design, and development teams to get SEO initiatives executed
- Meet deadlines across multiple client projects
- Use AI tools, especially Claude, for research, SEO planning, audits, and workflow improvement
- Think beyond rankings and traffic to drive client acquisition and business growth
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Strong English communication skills, especially for client conversations
- Experience in client interaction and stakeholder management
- Proven track record of significantly improving SEO performance for a website, either from scratch or by substantially increasing traffic
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, backlinks, internal linking, and SEO reporting
- Experience using Semrush and Google Search Console
- Ability to identify SEO issues and recommend practical fixes
- Good understanding of how SEO can drive leads, revenue, and client acquisition
- Comfortable using AI tools in daily work
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
- Team player with good coordination skills
- Must be willing to work from office in South Delhi
- Immediate joiners preferred
