About the Role
We're looking for an SEO Executive who can own technical and on-page SEO for B2B clients across pharma, life sciences, industrials, and enterprise SaaS. The work is measurable, research-heavy, and moves quickly.
What makes this role different: we expect you to use AI tools fluently in your day-to-day work — for research, content briefs, SERP analysis, internal linking, and schema. We're also building for AI-native discovery AI Overviews, LLM answers, Perplexity-style engines), so part of the job is making sure client content performs there too, not just in classic Google rankings.
What You'll Do
• Technical SEO: Run technical SEO audits and work with developers to fix crawl, index, site speed, and Core Web Vitals issues.
• On-page & content SEO: Keyword research, competitor analysis, content briefs, on-page optimization, and internal linking for client sites.
• AI-native discovery: Own content structure for AI-native discovery — clear entity markup, schema FAQ, HowTo, Product, Organization), and machine-readable summaries that help LLMs quote client content accurately.
• Tooling: Use tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4 — and AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and others for research, drafting, and analysis. Know when AI output needs heavy editing and when it's ready to ship.
• Reporting: Monthly performance reports with specific movements — rankings, organic traffic, conversions, AI citation tracking. Not vanity metrics.
• Collaboration: Work directly with content, paid, and web teams. Flag issues early. Write clean, short updates.
What We're Looking For
• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in B2B or agency setups. Agency background is a plus.
• Core skills: Solid grip on technical SEO, on-page SEO, link strategy, and SEO reporting. You should have shipped real improvements, not just audited them.
• AI fluency (required): Fluent with at least two of: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini. You know how to write useful prompts, chain them, and verify output. Bonus if you've built workflows with GPTs, Projects, or agents.
• AI-native SEO: Basic comfort with schema markup, structured data, and how content gets picked up by AI Overviews, SGE, and LLM answer engines. If you haven't done it at work, show us you've been experimenting.
• Analytics: Comfortable with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog. Experience with Looker Studio or Excel for reporting.
• Writing: Clear, short English. Can write a content brief that a writer actually uses.
• Mindset: You read industry updates (search algorithm changes, AI search releases) without being prompted. You try things on your own sites or side projects.
