Role Overview:
We’re looking for an SEO Executive who can drive organic growth through strong execution and smart strategy. This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO fundamentals and is ready to take ownership of key growth initiatives.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search opportunities and shape both content strategy and messaging angles.
- Perform on-page SEO optimisation across meta tags, headings, internal linking, URL structures, and content, ensuring clarity, readability, and persuasive copy alongside search optimisation.
- Create and refine SEO-driven content, including landing pages, product descriptions, blog articles, and metadata, with a strong focus on conversion-oriented copywriting.
- Execute and monitor off-page SEO activities, including link building, guest posting, and outreach campaigns, ensuring brand voice consistency in all external content.
- Carry out regular technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers to fix issues (site speed, crawlability, structured data, etc.).
- Track and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, translating data into actionable content and copy improvements.
- Monitor keyword rankings and deliver insights with recommendations that balance SEO performance and user engagement.
- Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and evolving content/copy trends.
- Collaborate closely with the content and brand teams to ensure all content is SEO-optimised, aligned with brand voice, and conversion-focused before publishing.
- Identify and disavow toxic backlinks to maintain a healthy link profile.
- Support local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimisation with compelling, high-conversion copy.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO and basic technical SEO
- Proven ability to write or optimise high-performing, SEO-driven copy (blogs, landing pages, product pages, meta descriptions, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush
- Basic understanding of website structure and HTML
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and content optimisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good to have:
- Experience in D2C or e-commerce brands
- Strong copywriting or content marketing background
- Experience with content optimisation, blogging, or CRO-focused writing
- Familiarity with platforms like Shopify
