Job Overview
We are looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented SEO Analyst to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, technical SEO, content optimization, and analytics. You will collaborate closely with content, development, and marketing teams to execute and refine SEO strategies that drive measurable business growth.
1. Keyword Research & Strategy
The SEO Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive keyword research and building effective keyword strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner
- Identify high-intent and high-value keywords
- Map keywords to relevant landing pages
- Develop keyword clusters and generate content topic ideas
2. On-Page SEO
The role involves optimizing website pages to improve search visibility and user experience.
- Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and URLs
- Improve content structure based on search intent
- Implement schema markup where required
- Ensure image optimization (ALT tags, compression, naming)
- Maintain SEO-friendly content guidelines
3. Technical SEO
The SEO Analyst will perform regular technical audits and ensure website health.
- Conduct audits for crawl errors, indexation issues, page speed, and Core Web Vitals
- Resolve issues related to Robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects (301/302), broken links, and duplicate content
- Work with developers to implement technical fixes
- Monitor website health using Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
4. Content Optimization
Optimize existing and new content to improve rankings and engagement.
- Analyze existing content for SEO improvements
- Create detailed content briefs based on SERP analysis
- Collaborate with writers to ensure SEO best practices
- Optimize content for Featured Snippets and “People Also Ask” sections
5. Competitor & SERP Analysis
The role requires monitoring competitors and market trends to stay ahead in rankings.
- Conduct competitor gap analysis
- Identify backlink opportunities
- Analyze SERP trends and algorithm updates
- Track and monitor ranking movements
6. Reporting & Analytics
The SEO Analyst will measure and report performance metrics to guide strategy decisions.
- Track KPIs including organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rate, and conversions
- Prepare monthly SEO performance reports
- Provide actionable, data-driven insights
- Use Google Analytics and Looker Studio for reporting
7. Link Building Support
Support authority building and backlink management efforts.
- Identify backlink opportunities
- Conduct outreach when required
- Monitor backlink profile health
- Disavow toxic links when necessary
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in SEO (Agency or In-house)
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs/SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and structured data
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with eCommerce SEO
- Understanding of international SEO
- Basic knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Experience in content strategy planning
- Familiarity with AI tools for SEO workflows
