Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for driving organic growth for an eCommerce brand. This means improving visibility, bringing in high-intent traffic, and turning that into actual sales, not just rankings.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize product pages, category pages, and landing pages for search
- Conduct keyword research focused on buyer intent and conversion
- Improve on-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, content structure
- Work on technical SEO basics: site speed, indexing, crawl errors, mobile optimization
- Collaborate with content and design teams to improve product and blog content
- Track rankings, traffic, and conversions using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
- Analyze competitors and identify growth opportunities
- Build and execute basic link-building strategies
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in eCommerce
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
- Understanding of keyword intent, product search behavior, and conversion-driven SEO
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience optimizing large product catalogs
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data
- Exposure to international SEO or multi-language sites
- Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimization)
