Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sealed Quench Furnace Operator to join our team in Rajkot. This is an on-site role requiring hands-on operation and maintenance of sealed quench furnaces for heat treatment processes. Responsibilities include monitoring furnace operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining detailed process documentation. The role involves coordinating with production teams to meet operational requirements while optimizing efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and monitoring industrial furnaces, specifically sealed quench furnaces, and understanding of heat treatment processes.
- Skills in reading mechanical drawings, interpreting technical specifications, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance of furnace equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant certifications or training in heat treatment processes or industrial furnace operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively with production teams.
- Experience in the gear manufacturing industry or industrial machining is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in a related field is preferred.
