Job Purpose
This position requires a high level of technical expertise in industrial electrical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of plant equipment and electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a good working relationship with Operating personnel to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Analytically troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions back to OEM Specifications.
- Routinely checkthe performance of electrical equipment.
- The employeeis responsible formaintainingmaintenance records, inspection reports, and processing Work Orders.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area. Must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Attend andparticipatein Line-Out meetings to communicate daily activities between incoming and outgoing Maintenance shift crews.
- Make necessary equipment repairs during the shift to maintain equipment availability for production.
- Participate in production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as it pertains to equipment reliability and availability.
- Perform required Daily, Weekly,Quarterlyand Annual check sheets asestablishedby the Maintenance Department and O.E.M. suppliers.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, andmaintainindustrial electrical equipment including motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and sensors.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, thermalimaging).
