Role Description : SDS/2 Detailer or Modeler – AISC
Location : Kolkata
The role involves creating and modifying 3D structural steel models in SDS/2 according to AISC standards, project specifications, and design drawings. The detailer/modeler will prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings, shop details, and reports, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with codes.
Qualifications :
- Strong proficiency in SDS/2 (3D steel detailing) and experience in 3D modeling of structural steel components.
- Solid understanding of AISC standards, steel fabrication practices, and erection methodologies.
- Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and connection design details accurately.
- Experience preparing fabrication and erection drawings, bill of materials, and related documentation for steel structures.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and shop/field teams.
