About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled SDET – Data / ETL professional with strong expertise in data pipeline testing, ETL validation, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PySpark, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms, and should be capable of ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across large-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform testing and validation of data pipelines and data extract workflows.
- Validate ETL transformations and ensure accurate data reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Develop and maintain automated validation scripts using Python / PySpark.
- Execute SQL-based validation for large datasets to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for data pipeline testing.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, QA, and Product teams in Agile environments.
- Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data quality standards and best practices.
Required Skills- Strong experience in PySpark and Python for data validation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, reconciliation).
- Hands-on experience in ETL / Data Pipeline testing.
- Experience in building automation scripts/frameworks for data testing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience with Databricks / AWS Glue / Spark-based pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and large dataset testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have- Experience in Healthcare / Payer domain.
